Ship's Articles

Every voyage needs a charter. Before we embark on your digital transformation, we define the rules of the sea.

These terms apply to use of the Gooiercloud website and, where a separate statement of work does not say otherwise, to the professional services we provide from 99 Strathearn Dr, Brentry, Bristol BS10 6TS, UK. They were last updated on 22 October 2026.

Using this website

  • The pages are general information about Gooiercloud. They are not a formal offer, and a project starts only when both sides sign a statement of work.
  • You may read and share links to these pages. You may not copy the site design, text, or images for your own commercial site, or attempt to disrupt the service.
  • The contact form is for genuine enquiries. Do not send unlawful, misleading, or malicious content.

Services, backups, and liability

Cloud migrations are complex. We plan them carefully, and we still need a clear contract around scope and risk.

  • Scope. Services are limited to the migration targets, environments, and timetable written in your statement of work.
  • Backups. You keep responsibility for a tested off-site backup before cutover. We will not start a destructive step without that safety net.
  • Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability arising from a project phase is capped at the fees you paid us for that phase. We are not liable for loss of profit, or for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may still seek an injunction in any court that can grant one. If a project statement of work names a different dispute process, that process applies to the project and these website terms still apply to use of the site.

Service windows

Planned maintenance on systems we host is announced at least 48 hours ahead unless we are responding to an active incident.

Jurisdiction

Website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are heard in those courts.

Payment

Project invoices are payable within 14 days unless the statement of work says otherwise. Overdue sums may pause non-critical migration work.

Confidentiality

Your data stays your data. Crew and subcontractors work under confidentiality duties that match the engagement.
